Welcome to the LaBelle Middle School Library Media Center!

The Library Hours

Come visit The Library before school each morning

from 7:05 a.m. until the first bell at 7:15 a.m.

for a quiet place to study, do research,

or complete your homework.

Our school is fortunate to have a very large spacious library media center. The library is open each morning before school begins from 7:05 a.m. until the first bell at 7:15 a.m. This is your opportunity to come in to browse all of our great books, use a computer for research or school-related assignments, or return your library books and/or check out another good book to read.  The library also provides a quiet place in the morning for students to read, study, or work on homework.  Of course, we are open throughout the school day for students to visit with their classes or to come independently with a pass from their teacher. All of the language arts classes visit the library at least once a week to check out new books.

Our library staff consists of Student Assistants and Mrs. Moore, Library Media Specialist.  The Student Assistants assist Mrs. Moore in keeping the Media Center running smoothly.
The Library Media Center has a large collection of books, including fiction, non-fiction, and biographies.  We also have over 200 Capstone Interactive eBooks that are available 24/7 on any device with a browser or on the iPad app.  Check with Mrs. Moore or your teachers for log-in information.  Other teachers should also be able to help you or they will check with Mrs. Moore

Would you like a large selection of e-books to read on your phone or tablet?  See Mrs. Moore to get a unique access code so you can download the Open eBook app from the App Store or Google Play.   We are always ordering new materials, so if there is a book or series you would like to see in our library, be sure to let us know.  We try to always have the next title in most of the popular series, but if you don't find it here, please tell us!
